Art Club
A group of local artists under the leadership of Joan Spieler, longtime Clifton art teacher, organized an art club with the primary purpose in mind of getting together on a regular basis to paint and share ideas. They have, throughout the years, held “paint outs” at various country locations, taken a number of field trips including visits in Wimberly and New Braunfels. They have also hosted workshops featuring visiting artists. Some of the members have been associated with the club since its founding, and the group continues to attract new members who share a love of drawing and painting.
