The Bosque Conservatory Art Council presents the 23rd Annual Conservatory Art Classic, September 20-28, 2008. Opening night is Saturday, September 20, by reservation only. An open house will be held on Sunday, September 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The show remains open to the public through Sunday, September 28, during normal hours.
This year's competition attracted 845 submissions from 260 artists from coast to coast. Approximately 159 pieces of art were selected by judge Mark Smith, co-founder of Greenhouse Gallery of Fine Arts in San Antonio.
