Bosque County Student Photo Competition

The Photography Guild’s Student Contest is open only to Bosque County Students K-12. There are no specific categories for this contest. Deadline to receive entries is Feb 15th (hand delivered) and postmarked by Feb 13th (if mailing). Contact Charles and Mary Evans for more information or assistance @ 254.753.8188

Rules and Checklist for Student Show

    1. Student must be a Bosque County resident.

    2. Limit of five (5) entries per student will be accepted. Photos may be in color or              black and white, and may be of any subject.

    3. Photos must have been taken by student entrant in the last twelve (12) months.

    4. Each photo must be unframed and unmatted. They must be labeled on the back as         follows:

         a. Student's Name
         b. Complete Address
         c. Phone Number
         d. Name of School
         e. Grade of Student

    5. Print size: 4 x 6 or 5 x 7 inches full page, no border. No other print size will be                  accepted.

    6. Deadlines:

If mailed to Bosque Conservatory, P.O. Box 373, Clifton, TX 76634. Entries must be postmarked by February 13, 2008. Include a stamped, self-addressed envelope for return of photos after the show.

If hand delivered, bring to the conservatory at 215 College Hill Clifton, TX by 5pm on February 15, 2008.

The Bosque Conservatory office is open 10am - 5pm Tuesday - Friday and 10am - 2pm on Saturdays.

7. Failure to comply with any of the above rules will result in disqualification.

Entries for the Student contest may be shipped or hand delivered to the Bosque Conservatory at 215 College Hill Drive.

Notification of Acceptance

A notice will be mailed by March 11, 2008 to the address on the back of your photos.

Return of Photos

All entries will be returned to the student after the exhibit closes on April 26, 2008 by mail in the stamped, self addressed envelope you provide or you may pick them up after April 26, 2008.
